Advancing the Mission
Stewardship Campaign
The Catholic Foundation of Green Bay is sponsoring a capital stewardship campaign in every Green Bay Diocese parish over the next two years. The stewardship campaign, sponsored by the Catholic Foundation, is named Advancing the Mission.
The five goals of Advancing the Mission stewardship campaign are to: (1) foster Vibrant Parishes throughout the Green Bay Diocese, (2) support Leadership Development through our seminarians and lay persons in critical pastoral and administrative roles, (3) reach out to inactive or alienated Catholics, non-Catholics, and non-Christians through Evangelization, (4) provide access to Lifelong Education and (5) care for our retired diocesan priests. One half of the funds raised through Advancing the Mission will remain in our parish to fulfill the diocesan goal of Vibrant Parishes. Advancing the Mission will seek gifts and pledges over three years. Most parishes will be finished with their pledging between 2009 and 2011. St. Jude celebrates it's 50th year of parish ministry in 2007. Our parish, with its buildings and parishioners, have been an anchor of hope in our neighborhood. As we begin to celebrate our half-century of worship, there are several issues affecting our parish community. The parish is $200,000 in debt; Tri-Parish Office and school buildings are in need of many repairs and our Sanctuary requires renovation.
As good (grateful) stewards, thanking God for our wonderful gifts, we are embarking on a stewardship campaign to upgrade our facilities while securing the future of our parish and helping the Diocese to fulfill its ministries. St. Jude Advancing the Mission objects were to develop several parish projects to support our parish ministry. These projects include:

Don Bosco Youth Center ~ goal amount: $15,000

Pay off 50% of parish debt ~ goal amount: $100,000

Renovation of Sanctuary and windows; new windows and new roof on Tri-Parish Office building, and new windows for school building ~ goal amount: $375,000
